Capsule collection of upcycled jewelry by Le Ritz Paris

The Ritz Paris partners with the Fabrique Nomade to launch a capsule collection of jewelry made with fragments of hotel tableware. 40 pieces have been manufactured and are available for purchase at the Concept Store of the property until Christmas.

The broken porcelain comes from the white with a blue frieze china set drawn in 1898 for the opening of the house which is still is still in use today. Necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings with geometric shapes are composed of porcelain, vermeil and gold. Each piece is handmade following the ancestral technique of the re-bored. 

Founded in 2016, the Fabrique Nomade is a non profit organization which promotes the social and professional integration of migrant and refugee in France. 6 jewelers from Mauritania, Russia, Venezuela, Iran, Sri Lanka and Ukraine have manufactured the collection.

The Ritz Paris was the first French hotel to receive the GSTC certification (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) for its sustainable development approach. Thanks to this collection, the institution continues its commitment through a project with a heritage, craft and human dimension. The proceeds from the sale of the jewellery will be entirely donated to the Fabrique Nomade.
