The 2025 Talents du Luxe et de la création
The 2025 edition focused on the transmission, basic requirement for luxury. The Post-Covid period is destabilizing, like a reset either in fundamentals than under the effects of a more an more unstable world. Today, to creation, skills and art of selling can be added CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in a complex set where each step should represent excellence.
To manage the brand DNA heritage lay at the heart of all the challenges. It has to find the balance between the deep strength of the traditions, the attraction to novelty and the urgent need to exist in an ever-changing world.
The luxury market must adapt to present-day societal concerns and trailblaze demands of tomorrow’s, objectives for which the transmission has a major role to play.
Several debate participants and nominees have reinterpreted their activity towards sustainability and adopted a real environmental dimension.
For instance and without being exhaustive: a paper sculptor, a designer who makes her own pistorial materials from the garden plants of the house she has to decorate, a family champagne house which converts to biodynamic viticulture, a designer who rethink a sur-mesure wheelchair to make forget the medical aspect or a lace maker who works with raffia or leather.
