The high-end sustainable hotel, which has adopted the Earth Check operating standards, lies on a 160 acres domain framed by the ocean and the forest.


The place has been reimagined in harmony with the wild environment: balcony or patio for each room or suite, hot tubs and outdoor couple's rain showers, signature Spa Alila outdoor areas for pampering and elevated ocean-view terrace for the restaurant. Guests can enjoy mind-body-soul experiences, yoga and tai chi classes, guided walks through the landscapes or rustic-luxury glamping. Everything is thought to reconnect senses and emotions with nature.


The Chef Paul Corsentino crafts coastal cuisine -using Pacific-sourced seafood delivered by area fishermen, free-range meats from local farmers, products from nearby foragers and homemade accoutrements- inspired by the sustainable ingredients of California's Central Coast and the melting pot of America's culinary havens.
