All garments are 100% from baby alpaca of Peruvian origin, luxurious fiber with a silky feel. Three-time more resistant and seven time warmer than sheep's wool, it  is characterized by an excellent heat insulation thanks to its micro air bubbles that store body heat in cold weather while letting it breathe the temperature rises again. Naturally fat, oil and lanolin free, it is not subjected to chemical treatment and is hypoallergenic.

Claudia Salazar Liaudat  lived in Peru before moving into Switzerland: it was here that she discovered the art of knitting of the Andean women, who live in the mountains. She patiently gathered a network of weavers and knitters, whose know-how has been passed down from generation to generation and dates back to the Incas. "It takes sometimes over eight hours to find a knitter who can work for us. The making of some pieces can take several days of work."

The brand is committed in a long-term development programme to provide complementary knowledge to the women, so that they can better exploit their own know-how by adding value. She also promotes gender awareness by informing them about their rights and protecting laws. The aim is to value their work and improve their economic independence.
