The clay and the colours are purchased locally, everything is handmade, nothing is wasted. Pieces with a manufacturing defect are retouched and annealed until they are perfect: here there is only first choice. When there is a little pigment left at the bottom of the pot, it is stored in a container which is fired when it is full, to solidify material and avoid pollution.

In respect of the tradition, they update ceramics with the help of an exceptional collection of forgotten hundred-year-old moulds and have developped a new process: to apply gold on white. The 21st Century lifestyle is inspiring their creations, et several collaborations have been conducted with a street artist, a concept artist and a globe-trotter photographer: plates are made to set the table or to form a design on the wall.

The eartehnware factory welcomes groups of schoolchildren for visits and mini lectures, and wokshops are conducted with the ESAAB (Ecole Supérieure d'Arts Appliqués de Bourgogne) where students have to realise a project from the first idea to the manufacturing.
