Designer alternative leatherwork for the city, made from recycled bicycle inner tubes
The work begins with combing partner stores and collecting used inner tubes: their second life can begin.
Checked, sorted out and machine washed with an eco cleaner certified by Ecocert, they are dried in the open air, then wiped with a dry cloth to remove any residue. After this step, a quality check is carried out.
Then the inner tubes are sorted, based on type and size, to ensure the coherence and to provide resistance to the final piece. Inner tubes are then sewn together, as the raw material: manufacture can begin. The unique pieces are attached, assembled together, strengthened, tailor-made and hand-numbered in the workshop.
Resold through partner shops or online, the inner tubes keep on circling the globe, in their second life.
