Everything is made from raffia, silk, agava and cotton. Drawn by the fashion designer, the bags are handmade in a women-only workshop in Madagascar and the finish is made in Paris. Each bag is unique.

Clémence is a passionate person: graduated of a Parisian fashion design school and a Master of fashion management at the Berkeley College, she decided to take a break and committed in an humanitarian association in Madagascar, before going into the business community: she discovered there the extraordinary richness of indigenous fibers, the ancestral know-how and the difficult status of women on the island.

The rough material is 100% natural and vegan. The dyeing, the weaving and manufacturing are exclusively handmade on site, by women craftworkers, selected for their diligence, their taste and their know-how. A first rigouros quality control is made in Madagascar, before the bags are sent to France. A second complete check up is made in the parisian workshop, for a finish that upholds the international quality standards.

Madagascar is one of the poorest country in the world where women live in precarious condition. Good People is offering them a job and the hability to achieve financial autonomy, thanks to decent wages.
