Courrèges electric iconic car, in a limited edition

e-mehari-small.jpgThe mythic Mehari, beach car originally manufactured in Africa, was created in 1968. Now it's time for the E-Mehari 'styled by Courrèges', the 100% electric convertible, developed through collaboration between Citroën and Courrèges.

The colour coding of the Maison Courrèges requires that the outside is painted black and the inside white. The car seats and the indoor are made in France by a leatherworker.

The car has been redesigned with a removable hard top, to provide acoustic and thermal insulation. The 100% electric car is equipped with an environment-friendly performance LMP battery(*), which has a range of 195 km in the NEDC.

A bag signed by Courrèges is delivered with the car, as a limited edition of 61 vehicles.

(*) The electric motorization is a 85% recyclable battery and 95% valuable (the battery is part of the of recyclability and recoverability calculation rates). The E-Mehari is the first electric car to be labelled "Label Origine France garantie" (audit by the Bureau Veritas)
