Headed by leading personalities from the public and private sectors who have had significant responsabilities in the field of sustainable development, the organisation focuses on three main areas: climate, water, forests. On behalf of the 525 investors and 125 major purchasers members, the CDP requests information on climate risks and low carbon opportunities from the world’s largest companies to make them available through CDP’s platform. Its annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is widely recognized as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency.

Over 8,400 companies responded to the request out of which 179 have been named on the Climate "A-List": Kering's actions to cut emissions, mitigate climate risks and help develop a low-carbon economy have been highlighted. These efforts have led to the reduction of 30% carbon intensity in the Group’s stores since 2015.
