Luxury Eco-lodge in Botswana

Feline-Fields-small.jpgFeline Fields is a luxury eco-lodge located in Botswana, in the North West of the Kalahari desert, on a migratory route between Ngamiland in Botswana and Kaudum in Namibia.

Composed of six suites designed by an architect and two hyper luxury tents for the trips, the lodge is 80% solar energy self-sustaining. The expedition and the mobile camp new luxury mobile camp in Mababe Marshes allows visitors to experience safaris wildlife sightings, whilst leaving no lasting trace in the Okavango Delta.

Located on the Bushmen territory, the lodge is supporting the economy by hiring local staff to take care of the lodge and engaging them asspecialist Bushmen guides for walking safaris, all paid above the average local salary. A mini bus has been  recently upgraded following generous donations, and is running six times a day from Sexaxa village towards Matalapaneng school, this minibus saves 70 local children a day from walking the 20 km round trip, allowing them to dedicate this extra energy to their studies.

Feline Fields is supporting the Bokamoso Youth Foundation, is committed to the conservation of wildlife and local community and forms part of a wider migration conservancy project across five countries.
