Martin, 16 years old, walking stick maker by passion
At 16, he left school to devote himself to his passion: manufacturing wooden walking sticks by hand. His aim is to reboost this timeless market and to reinterpret it for the 21st century.
It is an understatement to say that the walking stick does not benefit from a very positive image: outdated ustensil to lean on, its use is today relegated to the sick and the elderly. However at the time, the walking stick was a luxury accessory, which revealed its owner's personality by the way he uses it. It also reflected the wealth of the one who could afford a finely worked unique piece.
Martin wants to reinvent the accessory in the most innovative way: his walking sticks are full of surprises, from the very classic one with a sword inside to the one manufactured in wood from old maceration barrels, containing a glass vial with the vintage which macerated in it, anything is possible. Without forgetting the walking stick with an inside corkscrew to go for a hike with everything which is essential for a picnic.
