Original tea cares, in infinitely refillable porcelain receptacles

chaling-small.jpgEverything starts when Josef and Minguo-Li Margraf buy an old-growth forest in the Yunnan, where the genuine tea tree was growing, to protect it against deforestation. Tea leaves from this particularly pure environment contain powerful regenerating and antioxidant ingredients.

The Cha'Ling's teams chose to implicate themselves by implementing an environmental partnership with the TianZi Biodiversity Research & Development Centre: a tree is planted for each refill sold.

Two years of research, in partnership with LVMH Recherche and Guerlain, have been necessary to develop the line of skin cares, with concise formula and a maximum of 25 ingredients.

It took three years to design the receptacle: a porcelain rechargeable format and a 100% biodegradable plastic refill to clip. Porcelain receptacles are hand made in France, with a water based lacquering.
If the porcelain breaks, the customer is encouraged to bring it back to the sale point(*): made from quartz and kadin, it will be recycled in the road construction in the Limousin region. Empty packaging will also be recycled(**).

Buying a refill helps reducing carbon footprint by at 70% in comparison with buying a classical refill.

(*) Customers are invited to bring back the broken porcelain receptacles to the sale point, who will send it back to ARTORIA for recycling
(**) Empty packaging are recycled through the CEDRE platform
