Sustainable luxury in the Hamptons
Shou Sugi Ban House is a confidential spot, a cuisine designed by a Michelin-starred chef from seasonal local organic products, a spa with thermal suite and hydrotherapy pools and a meditation place in the Hamptons, two hours from New-York.
Long Island is reknown for its preserved pristine beaches: the hotel is located between bay and vineyards, near the Parrish Art Museum. Wooden and stone architecture, whose decor is inspired by the local dunescape and Japanese gardens, it disposes of a geothermal heating, a solar power system and an integrated structured water system.
The furniture is crafted by artisans, mattresses and linens are from organic rough material, and each studio has its own private garden with massage area.
A retreat daily schedule including guided beach walks, body alignment and meditation, face and body treatments, and massages can be offered to the guests. Experts on wellness, nutrition, hydration, movement, meditation, daily rituals, optimal sleep and longevity science are listening to guests requirements, who can try the sound experience for deep sleep.
