Sustainable luxury island-hotel between the tropical forest and the ocean, in Cambodia

Six Senses is opening a luxury hotel on Krabey island in the south of Cambodia. The private suites have been constructed with total respect for the surrounding jungle and blend into the landscape.

The reception desk is located on the continent, before a short boat ride to go to their suites.

The island-hotel, whose architecture is inspired by traditional fishermen's houses, has been built from biological and sustainable materials and offers a view off the ocean, the sunset or the neighboring islands, according to the accommodation.

The restaurant is set among the trees and overlooks the island’s coastline. The seasonal menu focuses on modern cookery influenced by Khmer, and the Spa provides a setting, where guests are invited to learn in-depth alchemy.
